There are different kinds of vegetarians. Vegans eat only plant food. They eat no animal flesh, no eggs and no dairy products. Lacto Vegetarians eat no animal flesh, but will eat plant foods and dairy products. Lacto-Ovo Vegetarians eat the same as lacto vegetarians, but also eat eggs. Fruitarians eat only fruit, nuts and seeds. Pesco Vegetarians will not eat red flesh, but will eat fish, chicken, eggs and dairy products.
