The most inspiring part of my job are the people I interact with. Whether they are R-store/convenience meal/good food box/family basket customers, volunteers, suppliers, my fellow employees, drivers, etc. every single person I interact with wants to help contribute to enable everyone have access to fresh, healthy, affordable food. That is both amazing and awesome, they make my every day.

I would be most likely be conchiglie; familiar, a great way to spice up a family favorite or comfort recipe, and a good bet for baked dishes.

There is not a lot that I could spontaneously wow anyone with but I am pretty good at baking and crafting so I would most likely present something freshly baked or handmade.

Creative, caring, grounded.

When you’re not at work, what can you be found doing?
If I’m not working, I’m outside! Whether it’s a walk, a bonfire, or just sitting in the sun, I love being in nature. I also spend as much time as I can with the people (and animals) I love — especially my daughter.

I love being part of something that gives back to the community, and I feel honoured to learn alongside others. Every teaching, every story shared helps me grow and hopefully helps someone else too.

Probably a dramatic reading of a children’s book with full voices and sound effects — or an interpretive dance to 90s hip hop. Either way, I promise it would be unforgettable.
