Summer Lunch Program

The Summer Lunch Program, funded by Nutrien, is an annual initiative that has been providing nutritious lunches to children’s day camps throughout the city. The lunches include a sandwich, fruit, and vegetable, ensuring that the children receive a balanced meal. The program has been working closely with the City of Regina’s Free Children’s Summer Program, Eastview Community Centre, Al Ritchie Community Association, and others to ensure that as many children as possible receive this vital service.

This year, the program ran from July 10th to August 18th at the Ed Bloos Centre Training Kitchen. During this time, the program provided a total of 8259 lunches, ensuring that children across Regina had access to healthy meals during the summer months. Thanks to the generous support of Nutrien and the hard work of the program organizers, hundreds of children were able to enjoy a healthy lunch this summer.
